Fulham on Wednesday confirmed that an international tournament between India, Pakistan and Bangladesh due to be held at their Craven Cottage stadium in June has been cancelled.

It was announced a week ago that India were due to play Bangladesh on June 1 and Pakistan on June 4, while Pakistan would take on Bangladesh on June 8 in the 'Neighbours Series' event in west London.

But the friendly tournament, promoted by the Kolkata-based Celebrity Management Group, will no longer go ahead as planned.

"The Club would like to inform supporters that the international friendly matches scheduled to be played at Craven Cottage in June between India, Pakistan and Bangladesh have been cancelled," a statement on Fulham's website confirmed.

"Full refunds for tickets already purchased will be given."

The late cancellation leaves the south Asian countries looking to schedule new friendlies in June in preparation for the South Asian Football Federation Championship in September.
