Fulham v Roma - Follow Roy Hodgson's men in Europa League action at Craven Cottage

10.18 pm: Fulham's late heartbreak brings to a close Sportsmail's Europa League coverage for tonight. Thanks very much for joining us, hopefully you're not too down after that tremendous but tragic finish for Roy Hodgson and his brave side. Stay tuned to the website for the full match report and analysis of the clash at Craven Cottage, as well as Everton's 5-0 drubbing in Lisbon tonight at the hands of the highly impressive Benfica. 10.10 pm: Well, as a result of all that Basle leapfrog Fulham and go top of Group E on six points following the Swiss side's 2-0 win over CSKA Sofia. Fulham remain second on five points but Roma now remain hot on their heels with four. What an important goal that could turn out to be. Late drama: Roma's Marco Andreolli cracks in the equaliser deep into injury time Here's what Fulham goal-scorer Brede Hangeland has to say about it all: 'It's extremely disappointing to concede towards the end.' Talking about the farcical scenes after the penalty award he said: 'It's cruel to give a red card and a penalty in that situation. In the end I think it was the fifth official who decided it was Steven Kelly. 'We came really close to beating a top class team.' Roy Hodgson says that he has 'grave doubts' over whether it was a penalty and maintains it shouldn't have been a red card too. He's not happy, unsurprisingly, but has positive words about his side's overall performance. Heartbreak: Andreolli (right) celebrates as Jonathan Greening stands dejected 90 mins+3: 1-1, EQUALISER! Oh, can you believe it? So, so cruel for Fulham! Roma have another corner, it's their last chance, they've played all three minutes of injury time. Marco Andreolli chests down the loose ball and crashes a really quite superb volley past the despairing dive of Schwartzer, off the underside of the bar and into the back of the net. Heartbreaking for Hodgson and his men as the ref blows for full time. 90 mins: We're into injury time now, and Fulham are so close to the win they can almost smell it! But Roma have a corner, nervous moments these. 89 mins: It's end to end stuff now as Gera robs the Roma midfield and charges forward, but Baird loses it and now it's Roma's turn to pile forward. The attack is repelled, however. Mistaken identity: Brede Hangeland (right) sees red instead of Stephen Kelly (left) 86 mins: Wow, they're getting closer! Riise runs round the back of the Fulham back four to meet a cross at the far post. He keeps his half-volley down and hits it well but it flies just wide. 83 mins: Vucinic is yellow carded for mouthing off to the referee. 80 mins: Another point: did Kelly deserve a red card? Hangeland was covering, hence the referee's confusion, so technically he wasn't the last man. Whatever the answer, Fulham are in for a tough last ten minutes. Can they hold on for a famous win? 78 mins: SAVED BY SCHWARTZER! Brilliant stuff from the Australian, flinging himself at full stretch to his right to deny Menez. 76 mins: What drama! Roma have a penalty, John Arne Riise, bursting into the box, is pushed over and the referee awards the spot-kick. But Fulham receive a double blow as Brede Hangeland is given a straight red card for the challenge. But it wasn't Hangeland who made the challenge, it was Kelly! The home side's players surround the ref and desperately try to convince him it was Kelly who made the foul, but he won't listen! UEFA have placed extra officials behind the goals in the Europa League for this exact situation, why aren't they doing anything? But eventually the ref changes his mind and gives Kelly the card instead. 75 mins: Damien Duff comes on for Fulham. 74 mins: John Paintsil rampages down the left and swings in a beutiful cross, which is expertly headed out under pressure. Denied: Roma goalkeeper Doni makes a save from Diomansy Kamara (right) 72 mins: Good save, Schwartzer! Vucinic hammers a shot at goal but the Australian is equal to it, saving at the near post, but the danger's not clear and De Rossi lines up a strike from the edge of the area, but it's a yard too high. 69 mins: The game's quietened down somewhat. Roma are probing, with Menez looking lively, but Fulham are holding firm and looking, dare I say it, comfortable. Fulham do look a little lost in possession without the steadying influence of Zamora, however. 65 mins: Menez flashes a shot across the face of goal but well wide. 61 mins: Here's a strange one: the increasingly influential Zamora is replaced by Eric Nevland. Is Hodgson adding extra pace in order to make the most of the counter-attack? The game's certainly opened up a bit for Fulham in the last few minutes. Meanwhile Roma's Taddei comes off for Vucinic. 59 mins: Zamora the architect now slides in Kamara one-on-one with Doni, but the Senegal international's touch is uncertain and the onrushing keeper challenges successfully. Stuck in the middle: Bobby Zamora (centre) battles hard but is crowded out by the combined effort of Roma's Nicolas Burdisso (left) and Stefano Chuka (right) 57 mins: Superb play from Bobby Zamora! He wins an aerial challenge, runs onto the loose ball himself and sprints clear of the Roma defence down the left flank. Waving his arm ferociously in the air at his strike-partner Kamara as he runs, the flying forward then delivers the ball exactly where he was pointing, but Mexes clears, just, with an outstretched boot. 55 mins: That could be one for Sportsmail's anti-diving campaign to take a look at. Menez takes a tumble inside the box under some, but not much, pressure, and the referee isn't interested. 54 mins: Close from Menez - he chests down a lofted pass and blasts topwards goal, but the contact isn't good and it's deflected wide. 53 mins: Fulham have a corner of their own - keep an eye on that man Hangeland- but the delivery is poor and fails to clear the first defender. Tussle: Diomansy Kamara of Fulham battles for the ball with Philippe Mexes 52 mins: GOAL! No! De Rossi is ruled offside after flicking in a back-header after a half-cleared corner is pumped back into the box. 50 mins: Kamara dallies and is robbed on the edge of his own area but Jeremy Menez wastes the opportunity by delaying his shot, then scooping an aimless pass for Fulham to clear. 47 mins: And that's a statement of intent as a Roma shot whistles just over. 46 mins: There's a wind of change breezing through Craven Cottagee, as the home side bring on John Paintsil for Paul Konchesky, while Roma take action following their poor first-half display by introducing Simone Perrotta and David Pizarro. Matteo Brighi and  Stefano Chuka Okaka go off. 45 mins: HALF-TIME. Fulham are in control at Craven Cottage, leading through Brede Hangeland's towering header. Surely Roma will up their game in the second half, De Rossi, Taddei and co have been largely anonymous so far. It's not been a classic, but if it stays like this, Fulham will be in a dominant position at the top of Group E. Family affair: John Arne Riise (right) outpaces his brother Bjorn Helge 42 mins: Guberti tries his luck with a curler, but it sails harmlessly wide. Roma starting to threaten. 39 mins: That's much better from Roma. Guberti's teasing left-wing cross nearly outfoxes Paul Konchesky at the far post, but curls agonisingly out of reach of the flying Taddei. 37 mins: De Rossi hits a hopeless free-kick towards no-one in particular in the Fulham penalty area. Sums up the Italians' first half so far. 36 mins: Roma knocking the ball about in midfield but without too much effect and no penetration, resulting in a long back pass to Doni. Roy Hodgson - that object of Scandinavian desire - will be pleased so far, and not regretting turning down the Norway and Sweden jobs. 34 mins: Doni goes walkabout to challenge Kamara near the left touchline before haring back towards goal as the cross comes in. He's reprieved when the referee blows for a foul by Zoltan Gera, charging in to meet the pass. Rising high: Brede Hangeland of Fulham scores the first goal at Craven Cottage 32 mins: No wonder the siblings are ready to get at each others' throats - apparently the elder Riise, John Arne, used to chase his younger brother home from school every day - naughty boy! 30 mins: Riise revives memories of his time at Liverpool with a rasping first-time volley, which Schwartzer beats away two-handed at full stretch. Fantastic tecjnique from John Arne. Can you match that Bjorn Helge? 23 mins: 1-0 Fulham! Brede Hangeland gives Fulham a much deserved lead - the home side have been battling superbly so far, causing Roma all sorts of problems with their physical play. The big Norwegian centre-back rose high to head home from Riise's out-swinging corner. The centre-back was totally unmarked, and Roma keeper Doni's charge off his line to attempt to beat him to the ball only made the Fulham man's task that little bit easier. 19 mins: De Rossi lets fly from over 30 yards out, and his shot flies high and wide, but not by much. Battle: Roma's Matteo Brighi (right) and Zoltan Gera 15 mins: Zamora outmuscles his marker to fire in a shot, which is deflected just wide. The corner so, so nearly reaches Brede Hangeland, who was lurking menacingly near the penalty spot, but a Roma defender clears. 13 mins: Here we go, the brothers come together for the first time, and it's Bjorn Helge who outwits John Arne, nicking the ball away after a chase and setting up Kelly, whose right-footed shot with the outside of the boot is a little fanciful, and easily saved. 11 mins: Greening lines up another shot from a corner, but his rocket of a volley hits a defender and deflects wide. 9 mins: John Arne Riise winds up one of his trademark piledrivers but finds his way to goal blocked, before Guberti blasts wide. The Italians are starting to settle. 5 mins: Fulham look confident and composed on the ball so far. They'll have to be  with Daniele De Rossi in Roma's midfield. He's been linked with a big money move to Chelsea (if they can overturn or suspend their transfer ban), and is already heavily involved in tonight's game, battling and spraying passes across the pitch. 2 mins: Great save! Super start for Fulham as they win an early corner. The ball breaks to Greening 20 yards out and his stinging low drive is brilliantly saves low to his left by the flying Doni. That was some bizarre defending from Nicolas Burdisso to concede the corner - he back-heeled at full stretch a low cross. That could have gone very wrong indeed for the Argentine defender. The teams: Daniele De Rossi leads out his Roma side at Craven Cottage 8.00 pm: Roma's totemic skipper and Italian World Cup-winner Francesco Totti misses out with injury for Roma. The Riise brothers, Roma's John Arne and Fulham's Bjorg Helge, line up against each other and are ready to kick lumps out of each other, apparently. And we're off! 7.59 pm: Diomansy Kamara and Bobby Zamora continue their partnership up front after inspiring Monday's 2-0 win over Hull in the absence of Andy Johnson. The Cottagers' captain, Danny Murphy, is also out. Jonathan Greening takes his place at the heart of the Fulham midfield. A very warm hello and welcome to the second leg of Sportsmail''s Europa League coverage tonight, as Fulham take on the might of Italian aristocrats Roma. Craven Cottage may not be the most luxurious of Premier League grounds, but is there a better place to watch football in England than on thebanks of the river Thames on a clear and crisp night in West London? Coming into this game, Fulham top Group E with four points, closelyfollowed by Basle and Roma on three. If Roy Hodgson's side can matchthe 1-0 victory they achieved over the Swiss side in their lastEuropean tie at this ground, they'll be well set to reach the nextstage of the tournament. They're in decent form too, going unbeaten in their last three games in all competitions. Here's how Fulham line up:Schwarzer, Kelly, Hangeland, Hughes, Konchesky, Riise, Greening, Baird, Gera, Zamora, Kamara. Subs: Stockdale, Pantsil, Nevland, Duff, Dempsey, Smalling, Anderson. Roma, meanwhile, are set up like this:Doni, Burdisso, Mexes, Andreolli, Riise, Taddei, Brighi, De Rossi, Guberti, Okaka Chuka, Menez.
