Fulham close to signing Sidwell

Fulham boss Mark Hughes is confident of signing Steve Sidwell from Aston Villa after the player passed a medical.The former Chelsea midfielder looked set to join West Ham United, but Fulham are now favourites to secure his signature in an estimated £3.5m deal. Hughes said: "We are just waiting for a little bit of documentation. He has passed his medical, no problems there."
