Fulham celebrate as boss Hodgson signs new contract at Craven Cottage

Fulham have rewarded manager Roy Hodgson with a new 12-month rolling contract. The 62-year-old joined the club in December 2007 and managed to save them from relegation from the Barclays Premier League on the last day of the season. New deal: Hodgson has signed a new contract at Fulham Hodgson has since gone from strength-to-strength at Craven Cottage, guiding Fulham to a seventh-placed finish in the league during his first full campaign, earning the Cottagers a spot in this season's Europa League. They currently sit ninth in the Premier League with wins against Liverpool and Manchester United in the bank and pundits have been queuing up to shower praiseon the Fulham boss. Speaking about his new deal Hodgson said: 'I'm delighted to have committed my future to Fulham for the years to come. 'I have always stated my desire to remain at the Club and continuethe good work that has been achieved over the past two years." 'I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Chairman, the fansand staff at the Club for the faith they have shown in me during mytime at Fulham.
