Fulham 1 Roma 1: Heartbreak for Roy Hodgson as Italians grab late leveller

Fulham's hopes of a famous victory were cruelly dashed last night as an injury-time equaliser denied them a deserved Europa League win at Craven Cottage. Central defender Marco Andreolli struck in the third minute of added time, chesting down David Pizarro's corner and unleashing a rifling rightfoot shot that cannoned off Mark Schwarzer's bar and into the net. With little more than 10 minutes left, Kelly had made a clumsy tackle on former Liverpool left back John Arne Riise and, after consultation with the 'additional assistant referee', Belgian referee Paul Allaerts inexplicably awarded Hangeland a red card.  Fulham 1 Roma 1: All the action as it happenedFulham boss Roy Hodgson reveals: I turned down Sweden and Norway jobsFULHAM FC
