Fulham v Wolverhampton Wanderers Live

Wolverhampton Wanderers head south to Craven Cottage on Saturday looking to continue their timely upward trajectory in the table. Indeed, in their last six league games, Mick McCarthy's charges have suffered just one defeat and that came by a single goal away at Arsenal. With six points currently separating the Molineux side from the drop zone, another victory would all but seal Wolves' Premier League status for another season and the omens are rather good. Wolves have won their last two matches against the Whites, both by a 2-1 scoreline, while they have also won on five of their last eight league trips to the Cottage. However, Wanderers' Scottish defender, Christopher Berra, is staying focused on the job in hand, saying "Some people have said we are all but safe now, but none of us is taking anything for granted. "It's still very tight down and there is still work to be done." Fulham themselves have rediscovered their form after struggling in the league in March. Roy Hodgson's men have now won three of their last four games in all competitions, drawing the other, very difficult game away at Anfield. Indeed, with the Whites winning four of their last five league games at home, the much-travelled boss will surely be confident of another good result. Visitors Wolves have few injury worries ahead of the clash, with Michael Kightly the only absentee to an ankle injury, while Karl Henry remains sidelined by a three-match suspension. However, Fulham will have to do without long-term injured pair Clint Dempsey and Andrew Johnson, while Swedish attacker David Elm continues to be sidelined with a virus. On the plus side, Ghana defender John Paintsil is back in the reckoning, after recovering from a long-term knee injury and the full-back is now desperate to get back into the thick of the action. "I feel very happy with the progress of my knee and much more confident and comfortable," said Paintsil. "It's been really frustrating so now that I'm fit to play again I have to work so hard so that I can be the same player I was before."
