Amorebieta blow for Cottagers

Fulham will be without Fernando Amorebieta when they welcome Norwich to Craven Cottage.

The Venezuelan defender sustained a medial knee ligament injury during the closing stages of the defeat at Middlesbrough a fortnight ago and is not expected back in training for another couple of weeks.

Striker Adam Taggart looks set to miss out again with his back problem but caretaker boss Kit Symons has no other injury worries.

Symons is expected to be in charge once again although the club's five-man committee are closing in on naming a new permanent manager.

In-form Northern Ireland striker Kyle Lafferty is expected to be available for Norwich.

Lafferty, who scored for the third successive Euro 2016 qualifier when he helped his country defeat Greece, returned from international duty with a knee problem.

But manager Neil Adams anticipates Lafferty will be part of the match-day squad as the Canaries aim to stay top of the table.

England Under-20 winger Josh Murphy should also be in contention despite a sore heel while Ryan Bennett (ankle) is due to start running again after an ankle injury.
