Symons to make changes

Fulham boss Kit Symons could ring the changes ahead of his side's clash with leaders Derby.

Symons was furious with his players for their display in the 3-0 defeat by Wolves, which saw the club's winless run in all competitions reach eight games and leaves them five points above the bottom three.

Defender Tim Hoogland, recently back from a hernia problem, may be restored to the line-up, with Alex Kacaniklic, Scott Parker, Cauley Woodrow and Sean Kavanagh among those hoping to be handed a start.

Fernando Amorebieta could be available following a knee injury, which would be a welcome boost for a defence that has kept just four clean sheets in the 21 games the former Atletico Madrid man has been absent for.

Derby are boosted by the return from injury of Johnny Russell and Raul Albentosa.

Forward Russell has missed the last eight matches with a hamstring complaint while niggling back and hamstring problems have restricted Spanish defender Albentosa to just one appearance for the Rams since he joined the club from Eibar in January.

Both players featured for the Derby development squad on Wednesday night are back in first-team contention for the trip to west London.

However, leading scorer Chris Martin is not yet ready to return. The 19-goal striker suffered a hamstring injury earlier this month and remains a week or so away from making his comeback.
