Rodallega set to miss out

Hugo Rodallega could be missing for Fulham when they host Derby in the Capital One Cup.

The striker limped off shortly after scoring his second goal in Friday night's 3-0 win over Charlton and, although the problem is not serious, he is likely to be rested for the midweek tie.

Skipper Scott Parker could also drop down to the bench as caretaker boss Kit Symons rotates his squad with the likes of Patrick Roberts, George Williams and Cauley Woodrow pushing for some game time.

Fernando Amorebieta is still out with a knee injury and Adam Taggart remains sidelined as he recovers from a groin problem.

Ryan Shotton looks like being available for Derby but Leon Best may miss out.

Shotton missed Saturday's home defeat to Wigan because of illness but it is thought the defender has now recovered. However, striker Best now has a bug and he may not travel.

Rams head coach Steve McClaren is expected to make changes for the tie. Simon Dawkins made his return from a five-match absence with a hip injury against the Latics and the forward could start at Craven Cottage. McClaren may also use the game to keep the likes of Omar Mascarell ticking over, while Jake Buxton and Jeff Hendrick are also options. Kelle Roos could also return in goal.

Midfielder Paul Coutts, out for more than a year with a dislocated kneecap and then a hip problem, also has a chance of being involved in the squad after completing 90 minutes for the development squad last week.
