Fulham v Amkar Perm preview

20 August 2009 10:21
Damien Duff could make his Fulham debut in their Europa League play-off with Amkar Perm at Craven Cottage. The Republic of Ireland international completed his move to the Cottagers earlier this week and he could be pitched straight into the side to face Russian side Amkar. Fulham are still missing injured duo Simon Davies (foot) and Toni Kallio (Achilles). Cottagers chief Roy Hodgson has no other injury worries to contend with but he could freshen the side up with this weekend's West London derby with Chelsea in mind. Hodgson has admitted he does not have much of an idea of Amkar after being unable to have the Russians scouted ahead of the game. Amkar qualified for the Europa League by finishing fourth last season, but they are struggling this term and are currently fourth from bottom in the Russian league.
