Fulham too strong for Victory

Fulham bounced back from their midweek defeat with a 3-0 win over Melbourne Victory in the second match of their tour of Australia. Goals from Andy Johnson [penalty], Eddie Johnson and Erik Nevland helped Fulham to victory over the Australian A-League champions after their surprise defeat to Gold Coast United last Wednesday. Fulham won a penalty just past the half-hour mark when former Rangers defender Kevin Muscat brought down Andy Johnson inside the box and the striker dusted himself down to convert from the spot. Eddie Johnson came off the bench to double the lead on 67 minutes and six minutes later Nevland added a third to put the game beyond the home side. Fulham end their three-match tour with another friendly against Perth Glory in Perth on Wednesday.
