Catania have told Fulham they must stump up around £6.5million for Maxi Lopez.

Fulham have been chasing the Argentine striker for some time and according to the Daily Mail, Catania have told them their asking price.

The West London club have already had a loan bid turned down by the Italians.

The former Barcelona forward is also a target for Fiorentina and AC Milan.

Martin Jol is desperate to boost his striking options this month, with question marks over the futures of Andy Johnson and Bobby Zamora.
