Fulham tie gives Accrington Stanley a chance to shine at long last

When John Miles' 81st-minute goal saw off Gillingham on Tuesday it meant that Accrington had made it through to the last 32 for the first time in 51 years.[LNB]Just four years later, in 1963, the club were forced to fold because of a £30,000 tax bill.[LNB]Manchester Uniteds toughness is their strengthHowever, in 1968 Accrington Stanley were formed and they secured their place in the Football League in 2006.[LNB]Bell believes that battling mentality still exists and is confident his team will be no walkover in front of what is expected to be a capacity crowd at the Crown Ground.[LNB]Bell said: 'The lads were fantastic on Tuesday, they did everything we asked them to do and got what they deserved. We're a bit disappointed that it's not going to be shown on the TV but we are looking forward to it.'[LNB]The club having faced two winding-up orders and a transfer embargo this season but under long-serving manager John Coleman, Stanley sit just outside the League Two play-offs positions.[LNB]Fulham manager Roy Hodgson said: 'They are sitting pretty in League Two, but for glory they need to knock a Premier League team out of the FA Cup. [LNB]'We are the potential mugs, and we have got to make certain we are not mugged up there. [LNB]'The FA Cup has lost some of the glamour, but it is still there for the smaller clubs, no question about it. '[LNB]
