[LNB]Pain: Andy Johnson[LNB]Fulham boss Roy Hodgson has revealed that striker Andy Johnson has undergone anexploratory operation in a bid to solve his groin problem. [LNB]Johnson was missing from the Fulham side that drew 1-1 with Bolton yesterdayand Hodgson now fears that the former England international could be out forsome time. [LNB]'Johnson has been struggling with the injury since early October and despiteintensive treatment, he has continued to suffer in pain, as Hodgson revealed.[LNB]'He had an operation on Saturday and I am waiting to hear what the results ofthat are,' said Hodgson. [LNB]'It is pretty much exploratory because he has triedso hard to get back. There have been days when we thought he has cracked it and got manageablepain but then the following day when he comes out to training, he does not havemanageable pain. [LNB]'He is forced to go back inside again and that was the case on Friday and theday before. [LNB]'That has prompted us, after the numerous scans and alternativemedicine, to operate and go into the area where he is suffering the pain in thehope of finding out what it is and put it right. I fear he will be out for sometime.'[LNB] Fulham 1 Bolton 1: Duff denies thuggish Wanderers an ugly victory FULHAM FC
