Mark Schwarzer has backed Fulham to maintain their status as serial overachievers as they gear up for another Premier League campaign.[LNB] The plucky West London side have enjoyed a phenomenal level of success over the last three years for a club with such a modest level of expenditure. [LNB]Indeed, over this period, they have garnered two top-10 finishes as well as reaching the Europa League final. [LNB]Martin Jol was appointed as Fulham manager this summer and he will no doubt see it as a stain on his ability if he cannot continue their upward momentum. [LNB]"The last three seasons have been excellent," Schwarzer told the Daily Mirror. [LNB]"I don't think the club has ever had a better three years in a row.[LNB]"It's hard to improve on seventh in the Premier League, a Europa League final, and then eighth. But we believe in our own ability. We have good players at the club and it hasn't been down to luck.[LNB]"It's been hard work and good football, but we aim to improve and keep it going."[LNB]The Australian goalkeeper admits the success of the last few years, and the groundwork they have laid over pre-season, has left them quietly confident of a good season ahead. [LNB]He added: "The bar has been raised and, us as players are determined to continue raising that bar. The supporters deserve it.[LNB]"We are quietly confident of having a good season. We have had a decent pre-season campaign, although it has been different because we are playing in European football.[LNB]"It's gone to plan and we are raring to go."
