Fulham set to act on Johnson 'attack': Hodgson fumes over bad challenge

Fulham may consider legal action over the challenge that has left Andy Johnson with a shoulder deformity. Johnson returns for Fulham against his former club Everton tomorrow but manager Roy Hodgson is still raging over the challenge, in the Europa League qualifying win over Russian side Amkar Perm on August 20. Hodgson said: 'It's a dislocated shoulder, and he'll have to learn to live with a deformity - that's how bad the challenge was. 'It wasn't a challenge, it was an attack, the like of which I've not seen in Premier League football in the 18 months I've been back. 'It should have been a red card, no question. 'There's a way of blocking people off and not doing harm but this was smashing into someone deliberately.'
