Fulham Close To Deal With Monaco Striker

10 August 2010 13:29
Fulham are said to be in advanced talks with AS Monaco striker, Eidur Gudjohnsen. In the next 24 hours, Fulham could complete a season-long loan signing with the Monaco striker. Gudjohnsen joined AS Monaco in 2009 but failed to make an impact on the club. Gudjohnsen spent the second half of last season on loan at Tottenham and if the player does come to Fulham, it means Mark Hughes has beaten off competition from Birmingham City and Glasgow Rangers, who have both expressed interest in the player.
