Fuham XI well beaten by Boro
A Fulham XI including new signing John Arne Riise was beaten 1-0 by Stevenage in a pre-season friendly at the Lamex Stadium on Sunday.[LNB] Riise started at left-back for the Cottagers alongside other first-team stars Stephen Kelly, Philippe Senderos, Dickson Etuhu and Steve Sidwell.[LNB]It was Stevenage who came out on top, though, with Robin Shroot boosting his chances of a full-time deal with the winner 10 minutes from time.[LNB]Kerim Frei had been Fulham's most threatening player, but the League One outfit fully deserved the victory.
