Danny Murphy insists Fulham should have nothing to fear from Liverpool as he prepares for Sunday's emotional return to Anfield.[LNB] The Cottagers head to Liverpool on Sunday having added German champions Wolfsburg to their impressive list of Europa League scalps on Thursday night.[LNB]While making the Europa League semi-finals has brought Roy Hodgson and his team deserved praise, Fulham's recent league form has been a source of concern.[LNB]Last week's win over Wigan ended a three-match losing streak and Fulham have yet to win a league match away from home since their season-opener against bottom club Portsmouth back in August.[LNB]Rafael Benitez's side will draw level with fifth place Tottenham Hotspur with a win on Sunday as they step up their hunt for a place in next year's Champions League.[LNB]The Cottagers have beaten champions Manchester United and came close to taking points off Arsenal and Chelsea, which gives Murphy cause for optimism ahead of Sunday's match.[LNB]"They have some top-class players and it will be tough because for all their woes in the Premier League, they still have a good home record," said Murphy.[LNB]"We have shown in the last couple of years that we don't fear the big guns though.[LNB]"We have beaten Manchester United, given Arsenal a good run for their money, and held Chelsea at Stamford Bridge until the last few minutes, so we have to be confident we can put in a good performance there."[LNB]Murphy spent seven successful years at Anfield after arriving at Liverpool as a 20-year-old with a £3million price tag from Crewe.[LNB]He was part of the Liverpool team which won a cup treble under Gerard Houllier in 2001.[LNB]Murphy was sold to Charlton in 2004 and then joined Spurs before arriving at Craven Cottage in 2007.[LNB]The 33-year-old did not play in Fulham's 3-1 win over Liverpool earlier this season and he is yet to beat his old club since leaving Anfield in eight attempts.[LNB]He admits Sunday's match will be an emotional encounter for him.[LNB]"We drew up there last time and that was the first time I had gone to Anfield and got anything from there, which was nice," the midfielder said.[LNB]"It's a wonderful place to go and play your football. I learned how to play football by watching games there when I was growing up and some of the most successful moments of my career have come at Anfield.[LNB]"I'm looking forward to it, as always and I'm sure it will be as good an atmosphere as always on the Kop. It still holds a special place for me in my heart and I love going back there."[LNB]Hodgson will continue to risk the wrath of the Premier League by resting some of his players for Sunday's game, which will be the Cottagers' 56th of the season.[LNB]Simon Davies (rib), Bobby Zamora (Achilles) and David Elm (virus) are all doubtful but Nicky Shorey and Stefano Okaka are available after they missed Thursday's 1-0 win because they were cup tied.
