Elm linked with English switch

Swedish striker David Elm is reported to be attracting interest from a Premier League club. The 26-year-old is currently on the books of Kalmar in his homeland, but is said to be closing in on a move to England. Elm recently saw his younger brother Rasmus strongly linked with a switch to Everton, only for a move to fail to materialise. He ultimately opted for a switch to AZ Alkmaar, joining the third Elm brother Victor in Holland. David is now hoping that he can tread the family footpath which leads to one of Europe's top divisions. "There is a club that wants me now, but I can't say anymore than that," Elm told Aftonbladet. Fulham are believed to be one of the sides to have expressed an interest in Elm, but the striker's agent insists his client has a number of options to consider. "There are many clubs in Europe that are following David with interest, but I can't comment on anything concrete clubs at the moment," Patrick Mork told Expressen. Asked whether Kalmar supporters should expect Elm to still be at their club by the time the transfer window closes on Tuesday evening, Mork added: "I can't promise you that he will."
