Duff misses Armenia game

Damien Duff has been ruled out of the Republic of Ireland's European Championship qualifier in Armenia on Friday through injury.[LNB] The 31-year-old Fulham winger has withdrawn because of a calf problem picked up during Saturday's 2-2 Premier League draw at Fulham.[LNB]Duff, who has 84 senior international caps, will be assessed by his club and could yet join up with the squad for the home clash with Andorra next Tuesday evening.[LNB]He joins Blackburn midfielder Keith Andrews, who has a groin injury, on the sidelines for the start of the Republic's qualifying campaign.[LNB]
