South Africa ace Kagisho Dikgacoi insists he has no fears over his fitness ahed of the World Cup amid concerns he has gained weight in England.[LNB] The 25-year-old, who plays for Fulham, hardly featured for the Premier League club during his debut season.[LNB]Like compatriot Benni McCarthy, another player that has spent a large part of 2009/10 on the sidelines, there have been concerns the pair are not up to full fitness heading into next month's global showpiece.[LNB]But Dikgacoi said: "That (weight) has been my concern but I worked hard at Fulham.[LNB]"After the training sessions I would go with the physical trainer and the team for some more work, because I wanted to be in the team that will play in the World Cup and I had to do more work to make sure I'm sharp.[LNB]"It is very good to be back. I have played with these guys for some time now and although I could not join them in their recent camps in Brazil and Germany, I feel I can comfortably slip back into the team.[LNB]"I think the qualities that got me selected in the first place are still of use to the coach."[LNB]The former Golden Arrows star made just seven starts for the Craven Cottage club in the league, while he was also bit-part player during the team's Europa League run that took them all the way to the final.[LNB]Reflecting on his first season in England, he added: "I must say it wasn't the best season for me. I was expecting to play as many games as possible, but I can put in many excuses.[LNB]"My first game I got a red card and in the second game I got an injury, that took me out for about six weeks.[LNB]"But the positive is that the manager Roy (Hodgson) was excited about me. So hopefully next season it will be the best."
