Davies delighted to see AJ back

Fulham midfielder Simon Davies has hailed the return to fitness of Cottagers team-mate Andy Johnson.[LNB] Johnson continued his comeback from a nine-month injury lay-off in Saturday's 2-0 Premier League win over Wigan, replacing Davies in the 81st minute.[LNB]"I made way for AJ and it's just great to see him back out on the pitch again," midfielder Davies told the club's official website.[LNB]"He made a return the weekend before, and this was another step in his return to competitive action.[LNB]"He was very lively and put himself about - that's what he's all about as we know.[LNB]"It's a big boost for us and I'm sure as he gets that match fitness back then he'll be ready to play an important role for the team because he's a top player."
