Fulham need to win their final group game while Basel need only a draw to follow Roma from Group E into the final 32.[LNB]And Murphy, set to start for only the second time since October following a groin injury, wants to take Fulham further after winning the trophy in its previous guise, the Uefa Cup, with Liverpool in 2001.[LNB]Fulham near Europe with Aston Villa victory'It was certainly a wonderful memory and achievement,' said Murphy of the 5-4 'golden goal' victory over Alaves in the final. 'It was something we were very keen to win that and I am sure in Liverpool's predicament now they would be very keen to win it again. [LNB]'The journey this season has been great for players who haven't experienced it before. Hopefully that journey will continue after this game.'[LNB]If Fulham are successful they could face Liverpool from the quarter-final stages but Murphy admitted: 'I have been so focused on getting fit I don't allow myself to think that far ahead. [LNB]'As a club we have to be careful about thinking that way. We need to have a good Premier League campaign combined with the Europa League. [LNB]'It would be a wonderful reward to play one of Europe's top teams and it is nice if you are in the draw to draw a bigger team from a different country.[LNB]'We get to play Chelsea, Liverpool, Man United and Arsenal regularly. If we were fortunate enough to get through I don't think drawing Liverpool would be as pleasing for the fans as one of the other teams dropping out of the Champions League.'[LNB]Basel are enjoying a winter break at present but Murphy insisted that he is happy to suffer the pressure of a busy Christmas campaign.[LNB]'I wouldn't want a winter break,' added Murphy. 'I enjoy the football over the festive period. I did as a young boy as a fan growing up. It is what makes the English game special. [LNB]'A few years ago the amount of games was a bit crazy but I think they have dropped one out so it is perfect now. [LNB]'I have no problem with it. I think the fans really enjoy it and the attendances when we play over Christmas and New Year are always up. I am a big fan of it and I wouldn't want to change it.'[LNB]Fulham are without Paul Konchesky and Erik Nevland, who serve the second of two-match bans after being sent off in Rome, while Chris Baird is also suspended following three yellow cards.[LNB]
