Cottagers want Davis cash

Fulham have told Rangers that they want cash for Steven Davis after ending their interest in Daniel Cousin.
The Cottagers had hoped to sign the Gabon forward in January before their attempts were blocked by UEFA as he had already represented two clubs during the same season.
During the protracted saga, Fulham allowed Northern Ireland international midfielder Davis to join the Ibrox club and he went on to star in their run to the UEFA Cup Final.
Rangers are keen to sign Davis on a permanent basis this summer, but the player's agent has now revealed the deal will not involve Cousin as Fulham are no longer interested in signing the former Lens forward.
"I think Fulham have no interest in Daniel Cousin, so this is a straight deal for Rangers and Fulham to do," said agent Rob Segal.
"There is a certain amount of urgency now because I think Rangers are back in training in a few weeks and Steven definitely wants it concluded.
"The clubs are in conversation to see if they can come to an agreement. Hopefully we are heading in the right direction."
