Cottagers to look at Troest

Fulham are reported to have handed a one-week trial to Danish defender Magnus Troest.

The 22-year-old former Aston Villa youngster is currently on the books of Italian club Genoa, but has been allowed to head to Craven Cottage in a bid to impress.

Troest told Sporten: "I can confirm that I am on my way to England to meet a Premier League club.

"I have a big desire to play in England and a transfer right now would suit me fine.

"I don't get to train with the A side at Genoa since they want to sell me.

"The English club wants to see me in action in training and in a match."
