Fulham have confirmed the signing of Australian defender Adrian Leijer on a three-year deal for an undisclosed transfer fee.
The 21-year-old, who is boss Lawrie Sanchez's ninth summer signing, moves to Craven Cottage from A-League outfit Melbourne Victory.
Leijer told the Cottagers' official website: "This is such a fantastic opportunity for me to join Fulham and play in the Premier League.
"Now that I've been given this chance, all I can do is continue to work as hard as I can to make sure I make the most of it.
"I'm delighted to be here and I can't wait to meet all my new team-mates and get started.
"My time with Melbourne Victory has helped me develop as a player and has now provided me with this outstanding opportunity."
Sanchez added: "Adrian is a young player with great potential and ability and is an exciting prospect for the future.
"Obviously the Premiership is a tough league to come in to and we know that it will take Adrian some time to acclimatise himself to the pace and strength that this league is renowned for.
"However, I'm confident that he will contribute to this season's campaign if called upon and that he will be a great addition to the squad in future seasons."
