Cottagers slam quit talk

Fulham have angrily denied reports in the media that chairman Mohamed Al-Fayed is looking to sell the Craven Cottage club.
The Egyptian businessman bought the Cottagers ten years ago when they were languishing in the third tier of English football.
The Cottagers secured promotion to the top-flight in 2001 and, during Fayed's time at the helm, the club's Craven Cottage home has benefited from renovation work.
However, Fulham's managing director David McNally has written to a media agency demanding the withdrawal of a story which claimed Fayed wanted to sell his stake in the Cottagers.
McNally has also demanded a formal apology from the agency concerned.
A club statement read: "The statements within the article quoting unnamed and unspecified sources are untrue and highly damaging to the club.
"It can only be assumed that these spurious comments are deliberately intended to unsettle and destabilise the club at a critical time in the current season."
