Cottagers life suits Paintsil
10 Sep 2008 - 09:51:31
Ghana international John Paintsil believes there is enough quality in the Fulham side to secure another three points against Bolton Wanderers this weekend.
The Cottagers bounced back from their opening day defeat at Hull City to shock Arsenal in their last Premier League game almost three weeks ago, and Paintsil is confident Roy Hodgson's side can maintain the winning habit.
Paintsil, who has started both Fulham's league games following his summer transfer from West Ham United, said: "As far as the Bolton game goes, we are not going to let the fans down.
"We have to stay disciplined and keep our confidence so that at the end of the day we can get the three points for the club, the fans and ourselves.
"I played against Bolton three times when I played for West Ham. They are a good team and they play strong football. But we also have strong players and are a good team.
"The game is not going to be easy but we believe in ourselves, we know we can make it with the fans and we've got a good manager. We believe in him and, if we listen to him, everything will be successful for the team.
"We know what we want. We care about the fans and we are here to do good things and bring success. We have to do everything possible to bring the three points.
"I love the fans and it's nice that the fans appreciate everything that I try to do for them. That keeps me going and I can't wait to see them on Saturday."
