Cottagers suffer Dons defeat
A strong Fulham XI featuring the likes of Danny Murphy and Aaron Hughes lost 2-0 in a friendly against AFC Wimbledon at Kingsmeadow.[LNB] Brett Johnson and Charles Ademeno both scored in the second half for the League Two newcomers as they saw off a Fulham side containing Murphy and Hughes as well as Chris Baird, Bjorn Helge Riise and reported Swansea target David Stockdale.[LNB]Martin Jol's side have already started their competitive season after seeing off Faroe Islands outfit NSI Runavik in the first qualifying round of the Europa League and their friendly programme will be used to help players back to full fitness ahead of the new Premier League season.[LNB]
