Cottagers open against Villa

Martin Jol will make his return to the Premier League as Fulham manager with a home game against Aston Villa.[LNB] It has been a summer of change at Craven Cottage since finishing eighth in the Premier League under Mark Hughes, with Jol taking the reins following the Welshman's surprise resignation.[LNB]The Dutchman will have already had at least two competitive matches in the Europa League by the time Villa visit on August 13. There is another test against Midlands opposition the following week with a journey to Wolves.[LNB]Jol's former club and capital rivals Tottenham come to Fulham on November 5, while there is another all-London clash, away to Chelsea, scheduled for Boxing Day.[LNB]The Cottagers travel to newly-promoted Norwich on New Year's Eve before entertaining Arsenal two days later.[LNB]Fulham's final home match will be against Sunderland on May 5 before they finish with a trip across town to White Hart Lane.
