Coleman rues Boa blow

Fulham boss Chris Coleman has confirmed that Cottagers skipper Luis Boa Morte will be sidelined for around six weeks by a fractured cheekbone.

The 29-year-old Portugal international suffered the injury in a clash of heads with team-mate Heidar Helguson in the 0-0 draw with Spurs last weekend.

Coleman had been hoping that Boa Morte could return sooner by playing with a mask on to protect the injury, but that option has been ruled out.

"Boa is out for about six weeks and we can't even get a mask to protect him because of the extent of the injury," said Coleman.

"It's quite deep set, so there's nothing we can do about it."
