Fulham boss Chris Coleman admitted that his side had been swept aside by Manchester United in their 5-1 defeat at Old Trafford.
The Cottagers were 4-0 down within 19 minutes and had to endure a torrid 90 minutes against the Red Devils.
Coleman said afterwards: "They steamrollered us.
"We hardly got hold of the ball in midfield and when we did, we gave it away far too easily.
"In those circumstances, against quality like that, you are going to get punished.
"We conceded in the first ten minutes, then the wheels came off completely.
"I would like to think we will improve on that performance. I am sure we will, because the good thing is we don't play Manchester United every week."
