Coleman leaves Sociedad

Former Fulham boss Chris Coleman has announced his resignation as coach of Real Sociedad.
The Welshman took charge of the club on a three-year deal last summer and has endured a traumatic time in Spain.
Sociedad president Maria de la Pena, who brought Coleman to the club, resigned in November.
Coleman offered to quit at the time, only for it to be turned down. His most recent announcement comes only a week after saying said he would be staying at the second division outfit following a meeting with the club's new president, Inaki Badiola.
The 37-year-old now appears to have had a change of heart and on Wednesday announced to a press conference that he was stepping down as coach.
Sociedad have lost just one of their last 11 matches and the weekend win against Alaves lifted them to fifth in the Segunda Division standings, only one point off the final promotion place.
