Coleman fined for outburst

Fulham manager Chris Coleman has been fined £2,500 and warned about his future conduct after admitting an FA charge of using abusive and/or insulting words towards a match official.
Coleman was punished after confronting referee Mike Dean and his assistants at the final whistle of the 1-1 home draw against Spurs on January 20, after the visitors had netted a late equaliser.
The Cottagers chief admitted the charge and did not request a personal hearing with the FA, having felt that Spurs' leveller from Pascal Chimbonda was offside before seeing TV replays that backed the match officials' decision.
Coleman had fumed after the game: "In fairness it looked like it may have come off Franck Queudrue last, but if the linesman saw that he must be Superman.
"It looked like a blatant offside, but if the linesman says that he saw Franck touch the ball then I will apologise."
