Coleman cools Gordon talk

Fulham manager Chris Coleman is in no rush to increase his offer for Hearts' highly-rated goalkeeper Craig Gordon.

The Cottagers have had a £2.5million bid for the Scotland international rejected by the SPL side, and Coleman is unwilling to go any higher.

"He's a good goalkeeper but apparently the price up there is £10million, which would mean he must be made of gold," the former Wales international joked.

The 24-year-old Gordon has also been linked with a possible move to Arsenal next summer.

Gordon recently supported former Jambos captain Steven Pressley's criticism of the way the club was being run by majority shareholder Vladimir Romanov.

Pressley left the SPL side in December but, after attending a disciplinary meeting with club officials, Gordon claimed he was happy to stay at Tynecastle.
