Scott Carson has been named West Brom captain as former skipper Jonathan Greening prepares to complete a switch to Fulham. Goalkeeper Carson captained Albion to a dramatic 3-2 victory over Peterborough on Tuesday night in Greening`s absence and he has now been handed the responsibility on a full-time basis. Head coach Roberto Di Matteo has also handed the vice captaincy to influential defender Jonas Olsson. Di Matteo told the club`s official website: "Scott has got the presence and leads by example with good performances. He has the respect of all the other players as well. "Jonas is a very good person and also leads by example. He gives his best in every training session and every game. He`s driven and is hungry for success. "These are the attributes we`re looking for."
