Burley awaits Baird decision

Southampton manager George Burley has revealed the ball is in Chris Baird's court over his proposed move to Sunderland.
The Saints have agreed a £3million fee for the Northern Ireland defender with the Premier League club and Burley is awaiting further developments.
Baird, who was named Southampton's Player of the Season last term, handed in a transfer request at the Championship club last month.
"We have agreed a fee for Chris and the ball is in his court. I don't want him to leave but it is a fair offer," Burley told the club's official website.
Meanwhile, Burley has confirmed he has handed a trial to former Liverpool and Rangers defender Gregory Vignal.
"He will be here for a couple of weeks so we can have a look at him," he added.
"He was rated one of the top young French players when he came to England and he has been at a lot of top clubs, but he has maybe lost his way a bit.
"He's keen to come back to this country and has come here to prove himself."
