Bullard set for comeback

Jimmy Bullard is poised to make his long-awaited return against former employers Fulham on Monday - the club he last started a competitive game for back in December last year. Bullard, who has been sidelined for nine months with a serious knee injury, has made encouraging progress in recent weeks and featured in two reserves fixtures for the Tigers. The 30-year-old has played just 37 minutes of first-team football since his £5million switch from Craven Cottage in January, a move which made him Hull's record signing in the process. "Whether he starts or not we will have to wait, it is a big decision," said assistant boss Brian Horton. "But it is great to see him back. He is a quality player and will be a massive plus when he does start a game." Cottagers boss Roy Hodgson will be without the suspended Kagisho Dikgacoi but will otherwise have a near full-strength squad to pick from for the clash against Phil Brown's side.
