Bullard pledges Fulham stay

Fulham midfielder Jimmy Bullard has dismissed speculation linking him with a move away from Carven Cottage in the next few days.

The 29-year-old had been linked with both former club Wigan Athletic and Bolton Wanderers, but Bullard is focused on impressing for the Cottagers after fighting back from a career-threatening knee injury.

He told his club's official website: "Now I'm playing I'm just enjoying every minute of it.

"I know how close I was not being able to play again to be honest, so every time I step on that pitch I just try and enjoy 90 minutes of football.

"At one point it was have another operation or hang your boots up. I stuck in there and did the rehab and I can't thank the surgeon, Dr Steadman, enough. He got my leg back to where it was and if not stronger.

"I did the rehab properly, which was hard graft, but I'm out there playing again now.

"I love Fulham Football Club and I want to stay here and play for Fulham."
