Defender Chris Baird has backed Fulham to bounce back from recent disappointments and move away from the lower reaches of the Premier League table.
The Cottagers have failed to win any of their last seven league games and find themselves languishing in the relegation places heading into the latest international break.
Last weekend Fulham went down 2-0 at home to Portsmouth, but Baird believes there is plenty of reason to be positive as they had held Chelsea to a goalless draw just seven days previously.
He told the club's official website. "After going to Stamford Bridge, not conceding and getting a point it was especially disappointing to lose two goals in the manner we did against Portsmouth.
"It's not nice to be in the bottom three but I'm not worried yet.
"It's the early part of the season and I think our performances deserve more points than what we are on at the minute.
"We've got to keep plugging away and putting in good performances and we'll pick up the points to push us up the table.
"I think it's a good thing to have a break after Sunday's game. It gives everyone time to relax and look at the situation we are in and then when we're back together next week we'll be fresh to put things right."
