Chris Coleman has admitted that he was shocked when he was sacked by Fulham earlier this month.
The Welshman had been in charge of the Cottagers for four years but lost his job after a poor run left his side facing a battle to avoid relegation.
"I'm devastated to be honest," Coleman told Sky Sports.
"I've been at the club ten years and I never really saw it coming, but they've got their decisions to make and their reasons.
"I obviously know a lot of people at Fulham and I'd be devastated if they went out of the league.
"I know the players in the dressing room and they're strong guys and that's what will see them through.
"I'll spend a little bit more time with my four children, I'll spend some quality time with them.
"I'll enjoy a little break to make sure that when I do come back the batteries are recharged."
