France coach Laurent Blanc has promised that his side will attack England in their opener on Monday, and says he hopes "the team that tries to play football, wins".
"If England wait, should we wait for them?" he asked reporters.
"It'd make for a nice 0-0. Maybe you'd get a late goal from a set-piece. But we'll play our game. Both teams will.
"Will there be two different approaches? Yes. I hope the team that tries to play football, wins. But that's not always how it goes in football."
