No French bonuses before reaching last eight

France's players will only receive bonuses at Euro 2012 if they go beyond the group phase and reach the quarter-finals, French Football Federation president Noel Le Graet has announced.

"The negotiations took place in a good climate," Le Graet said.

"We agreed that if they didn't qualify for the quarter-finals, there'd be no bonuses. With the technical objective and the objective of the federation being qualification for the quarter-finals, we've been more generous than in the past."

France's players will receive 100,000 euros ($124,000, 80,000 pounds) if they reach the quarter-finals, with a further 50,000 euros added if they reach the semi-finals, 70,000 for reaching the final and 100,000 euros for winning the tournament.
