France winger Sidney Govou admits his form heading into the World Cup is "not good".
The 30-year-old, who is out of contract at Lyon at the end of the month, has not impressed in the friendly games against Costa Rica, Tunisia and China and he admits he needs to do better to nail down a place in Raymond Domenech's starting XI.
Govou said: "I have not been good. I cannot be satisfied with what I have done. I would like to do more, do better."
The Lyon man does not appear to have benefited from Domenech's new 4-3-3 formation which sees him line up in a slightly deeper role, and he added: "I am not hiding behind the truth as I have not been successful, but I have a different role."
