France will play Germany in a football friendly on February 6, 2013 as part of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Elysee Treaty, a Treaty of Friendship between the two countries.

The French football federation did not specify where the match would take place.

The Elysee Treaty was signed on January 22, 1963, by German Chancellor Konrad Adenauer and French President Charles de Gaulle with the aim of bringing about reconciliation and cooperation between the European nations who fought against each other in World War II.
