France enjoy clean bill of health

France coach Laurent Blanc revealed on Friday that he has a fully fit squad to choose from ahead of the quarter-final against world and European champions Spain on Saturday.

There had been concerns over the fitness of Franck Ribery and Samir Nasri, who both sustained knocks in Tuesday's 2-0 loss to Sweden, while Blaise Matuidi is still to play at the tournament due to a thigh problem.

However, Blanc said on Friday that all 23 members of his squad were in contention to face the Spanish at Donetsk's Donbass Arena.

"The whole squad is available, which is good news because we picked up a few knocks against Sweden -- most notably Franck and Samir," he said.

"We've studied Spain well, as we always do, and we've done a video session with the players. We know what to expect tomorrow. There will be no real surprises."
