France coach Raymond Domenech fears an under-strength Netherlands could cost his side their chances of qualifying from a tight Group C.
France must defeat world champions Italy in Tuesday's final game in Zurich and hope group winners the Netherlands condemn current second-placed side Romania to defeat.
However amid rumours that the Netherlands will make wholesale changes to their starting line-up, the outspoken Domenech believes his side could well fall victim to the tinkering of his Dutch counterpart Marco van Basten.
"Our game against Italy will not be decisive. It's the other match that matters," he claimed.
"My opinion is Holland will make wholesale changes for the game on Tuesday night and it is already written that Romania will qualify with them from the group."
