France defender Eric Abidal admits he is yet to gel completely in the centre of the back four with William Gallas.
Les Bleus have failed to keep a clean sheet in their World Cup warm-up games, conceding three goals against Costa Rica, Tunisia and China and Abidal knows he has to improve.
"It's always hard for a team to let in goals," the Barcelona defender told Telefoot. "Now I don't think that it's linked only to the defence. There are still some details to sort out with William, in the accuracy in the level of placement because William is used to playing in a certain position."
He added: "It's up to me to be able to adapt and then to do movements in a block, as a team, and to try to do everything to plug the gaps that could occur."
