McSorley leaves it late

Daly McSorley's late equaliser earned a vital point for Stirling in their 2-2 draw with Forfar.

The hosts took the lead in the 18th minute when Mark Ferry produced a fine finish after good work by Craig McLeish.

Forfar hit back just after the hour mark when Stephen Tulloch rose highest to head home Dale Hilson's cross.

The Loons added a second to take the lead three minutes later courtesy of a neat finish by Chris Templeman inside the box.

But they were reduced to 10 men soon after when Chris Hegarty was shown the red card for a bad challenge on goalkeeper Callum Reidford.

The Binos made their advantage count two minutes from time, McSorley with a finish inside the six-yard box.

Dick Campbell's side are now level with Stirling on points but above them in the table courtesy of their superior goal difference.
